Our upcoming show on April 19th will be the first of a three part series on how horses can benefit our health and well being. This Saturday we are focusing on how horses can have a special impact on teenagers. We have guests and call ins that will join me in exploring how horses help teenagers “connect” to something other than an iPhone and how that kind of connection may bring a greater sense of well being. Join the conversation and tune in this Saturday to AM950 at 9 am CDT for a show on how horses engage us in powerful and healthy ways.

We have Jim Nelson, author of “Running on Empty: Transcending the Economic Culture’s Seduction of Our Youth” and Donald Fox, speaker on Indigenous Worldviews, Racism and Multiculturalism joining us to discuss the challenges of teenagers in a techno – crazed world. How might both Indigenous perspectives and connections to the natural world help bring back more meaning and purpose in teenager’s lives? Join with us as callers will share stories on how horses helped them gain/re-gain/sustain a sense of connection and feel less isolated in the world we live in.
