12/8/2012: Peace of the Holidays

For some of us dealing with the holidays can present difficult challenges in our “coping skills”. Not all of us feel cheerful during this time of year and the emphasis to be “happy” can be a stressful pressure. Sometimes we need to find more silences and times to sit back and reflect. Our December 8th show explored the “peace of the holidays” and we hope you will give a listen.

Holiday Peace

Donald Fox, the former Executive Director of the Indigenous Theological Training Institute, joined us to explore multicultural celebrations around this time of year — as well as reflect on Native American perspectives that embrace dynamic aspects of peace within ourselves and in our relationship to others. Learn more about how the strength our relationships can bring us greater understanding of working for peace in our lives and how that peace can be shared with friends and family.
